My name is Tanaka Chonyera. I’m from Zimbabwe but moved to Botswana when I was about 5 years old. I’ve lived there most of my life so it’s the place I call home.
I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science at Michigan State University’s Honors College. I’m a creative and derive a deep sense of fulfillment from providing value to those around me and making products that didn’t exist before. Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science empower me with the skills to create that which I believe will be useful to society, and the ability to create those products a scale.
Activities I enjoy are swimming, videography, animation and gaming.
I am very optimistic about the future. I want to see a world where space travel is as ubiquitous as automotive. A world run on renewable energy. A happier world. A fulfilled world. A world were everyone realizes their potential to contribute to the advancement of the human race. And I’m going to help make it happen.

What am I working on right now?
Dreamernaut.com will serve to empower everyone around the world to be freethinkers, and realize their unique potential to make a substantial contribution to society. I want them to dream, and fight for those dreams. I want to provide the resources and education to get them started, and help them along the way. I will build education institutions that replace the archaic one-size-fits-all current model. I want to create self-sustaining, lasting change. I reject the notion that humans are insignificant in the grand scheme of the universe. On the contrary, I believe us being here has great significance. I believe each and every one of us has something amazing to offer, and I want everyone to realize that potential.
